Before we took this course, I thought our relationship was going okay, we would fight from time to time and I would sometimes just ignore that I was not getting my needs met.
During this course, I feel my partner and I have gotten to know each other way more in the course of the 8 weeks that the 5 year we have been together.
I now feel much calmer approaching a disagreement and I know that I can say ‘lets have a reflective conversation’ without feeling any negative emotions. We also go to bed saying ‘I love you’ rather than hanging up the phone while still angry.
I know how he would like to be talked to and how to handle situations when they become difficult.
